About me

  • Hi, welcome to my website! I have loved photography my entire life and love getting to share my art with others.

I grew up in California with a passion for sports, art, and travel. These took me to San Francisco State University where I played soccer for the university, studied abroad, and graduated with a BA in International Relations and Art.

I take my camera (cameras if I am being honest) everywhere I go.

  • I have been photographer for nearly ten years, shooting both digital and film formats.

I have shot senior portraits, proposals, events, and professional headshots. Pursing sports photography is my next goal as well as continuing to develop my travel portfolio.

Ceramics, multi-media collages, and illustrations are also a significant part of my creative practice.

My work has been showcased in Northgate Living Magazine, The East Bay Times, and The 36th Annual Stillwell Gallery Exhibit (2023).

  • My photographic work is about preserving fleeting human experiences and the relationship people hold with the spaces around them. My commitment to freezing time and capturing genuine, unarranged moments in a warm, cinematic light drives my work. Whether it's the inclusion of small figures within vast landscapes, the presence of anonymous faces walking or standing against the backdrop of urban architecture, or the sight of individual protesters in a crowd, my subjects’ blindness to the camera allows me to capture their authentic selves as they go about their day.

I find that my current mood, whether consciously or unconsciously, becomes infused into the images, adding layers of significance to each picture. My deep admiration for cinema has played an important role in my journey as a photographer. I aspire to demonstrate all the emotion and narrative depth held in a full-length film in my singular images. My photography is a reflection of my deep-seated desire to connect with my surroundings, finding the often-overlooked beauty in the everyday.
