My Ceramic work
2021-2023
During my time studying art at San Francisco State University I learned and practiced ceramics. It was completely new to me and incredibly challenging. Working on the wheel is extremely different than photography. It requires a different application of skills. It needs physicality, attention, perseverance, time, and most importantly, patience.
My final semester in the ceramics studio was by far my favorite and the most rewarding. I became friends with amazing people and fantastic artist and I challenged myself to build bigger and consistently. I am so proud of my ceramics work and cannot wait for the next time I get to hear the wurr of the wheels.
